According to a McKinsey Report from February 2017, the construction sector is among the least digitised sectors globally. The low level of digitalisation and process automation has resulted in low level of productivity. In order to meet these challenges, the construction industry needs to increase its efficiency levels and streamline its supply chains and life cycle processes. Moving towards digitising these activities and processes is a first required step to create interoperability and transparency.
