According to a survey conducted by McKinsey, 91% of the executives that were asked, acknowledged that forecasting in 2021 needs to look different than before. One of the challenges that will follow us into 2021 is that the increase in volume creates capacity issues in warehouses around the world. Also, the growth of e-commerce forces warehouses and terminals to support faster delivery times, to meet customer demands. At the same time, the need for more sustainable solutions keeps on rising. 

Increasing productivity in all logistics operations is therefore at the forefront of all managers working with logistics in 2021. The winners this year will be the ones who apply new technologies and knowledge into their operations.
